Ellen Morgenstern, Corporate Communications
Ellen Morgenstern is a communications expert with more than 20 years experience shaping perceptions, building brands and launching new products, with a passion for cause-related marketing and corporate responsibility. Her expertise includes strategic program development, media relations and event planning. She honed her skills while working in-house at prominent global media companies including Disney, Reader's Digest, Sesame Workshop and MTV. Currently, she is a consultant working primarily with nonprofit organizations in the areas of education, literacy and sustainability.
Among her accomplishments, Ellen developed and implemented campaigns for Reader's Digest branded products, resulting in the flagship magazine earning its first National Magazine Award for General Excellence in 2009. Over the years, she has successfully launched websites, magazines, books and television shows and has worked on large-scale events such as Live Aid, Farm Aid and MTV's Video Music Awards. Ellen has played an active role promoting corporate citizenship by organizing employee volunteer initiatives and through the creation of public/private partnerships.
Ellen has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Tel Aviv University. She resides with her family in Pleasantville, NY.
Jackie Sussman, Business Affairs
Jackie Sussman has over 17 years in contract law, specializing in drafting and negotiating entertainment industry agreements.
Jackie was in-house counsel at TVT Records, the largest independent record company in the United States, before beginning her own practice where she now represents indie bands and start-up record labels, and works on several projects with a boutique entertainment law firm and artist management company.
Based in New York City, Jackie holds a J.D. from the Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
Geza Guenther Schenk, Marketing Communications
Geza is the principal of GGS Communications, LLC. He moved to the United States from Germany in 2008 and specializes in communications concepts, design and advertising.
Geza's 18 years of experience includes working with internationally renowned companies including Grey and MAN across all marketing communications disciplines and consumer products industries. His expertise and passion for cultural institutions and projects includes work for the Bavarian Theater Academy in Munich and regular pro bono assignments for a range of non-profit and cultural programs.
Geza studied Slavic Studies and Business at Freie Universitaet Berlin and holds a Masters in Business.
Lewis Blaustein, Corporate Development
Lewis Blaustein is a 20-year media and sponsorship sales, business development and marketing veteran. Culminating 10 years in the sports media and corporate sponsorship world, Lew shifted his focus to sustainability as a response to the events of September 11. In 2005 he expanded his expertise to sustainability and the arts with the launch of his marketing consultancy, Lewis Brand Solutions.
Since its founding, Lew brought corporate sponsors including Tropicana, Clif, Safeway, and Motorola together with leading green-themed properties, such as EcoMedia and the Green Apple Festival, the producer of annual Earth Day events nationwide. He also created and implemented green-focused corporate promotions for Whole Foods Market and Starwood Hotels. In the arts world, Lew has worked with the Boston Symphony Orchestra to help increase attendance among younger audiences for their summer concerts at Tanglewood in the Berkshires.
Lew started his career in pharmaceutical marketing before pursuing his passion for sports as a business development and media sales specialist at Professional Sports Publications and Sports Illustrated Kids. Long committed to volunteerism, he also works with the residents of the Jewish Home & Hospital of the Aged.
Lew received his Bachelors in History from Rutgers University and an MBA from New York University, and resides in New York City.
Aurelie Vincent, Business Development - France
Aurelie works with French multinational companies including several sustainability leaders to create corporate sponsorship opportunities for Earth From Above.
Aurelie spent four years in San Francisco where she organized seminars for top European executives for WDHB Consulting Group, organized hundreds of networking events and helped entrepreneurs develop their business in the United States for the French American Chamber of Commerce, and provided communications and business development consultation for French IT companies. In 2008 she returned to Paris to coordinate the World Policy Conference, a summit for heads of state, and managed other annual event for the French Automotive Federation. She currently works with VC and entrepreneurs to identify and nurture genius and talent that enable entrepreneurs and their companies to thrive.
Born and raised in Annecy, France, Aurelie came to the United States after obtaining her Masters in Psychology from L'Ecole des Psychologues Praticiens de Paris.
Stephanie Handford, Sustainability
Stephanie Hanford specializes in designing business, policy and communication strategies linked to sustainability. She focuses on corporate social responsibility (CSR), climate and energy, sustainable production and consumption and innovation and technology.
She regularly advises companies, both large and small, on how the concept of sustainable development can enhance their business models. She worked internationally for over 10 years with leading environmental organizations such as the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) in Geneva, The Center for International Environmental Law (CIEL) in Geneva and the Brazilian Business Council for Sustainable Development (CEBDS) in Rio de Janeiro. She founded Connectivity Consulting in 2006 and now serves a variety of clients including The Green Media Group, the US Environmental Protection Agency and a handful of fortune 500 companies.
She is a Fellow at The Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (IGSD) in Washington, DC and holds a Master in International Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School, Tufts University and a Bachelor of Art from Loyola College, Maryland.
Kurt Steinert, Media & Government Relations
Kurt Steinert has nearly 20 years of experience in corporate public relations, advocacy communications and non-profit management with a focus on high-tech, international security and global environmental issues. His expertise includes media relations, strategic planning, event management and writing. He started his career with the Scientist's Institute for Public Information (SIPI), connecting reporters with experts on a wide array of science, technology, environmental and public policy issues. Later he helped to manage a program - the Center for Media and Security (a project of the Fund for Peace) -- that brought together leading members of the Washington press corps with senior government officials in defense and foreign policy for frank discussions on the most pressing issues of the day. He moved into the high tech world nearly 10 years ago, taking on a variety of communications roles, and now leads a team responsible for media relations for 3 of the 4 major operating units of Alcatel-Lucent, one of the world's leading telecommunications networking companies.
Mr. Steinert's primary expertise is in identifying interesting, often complex stories and presenting them in a compelling, easy-to-understand fashion. He has managed communications for major strategy campaigns, product launches, acquisitions and major conferences.
Throughout his career Mr. Steinert has been involved in non-profit and corporate public interest activities, serving for 7 years on the Public Advisory Panel for the Chemical Manufactures' Association's Responsible Care program, an initiative intended to strengthen the environmental, health and safety practices of the association's member companies. For the last 6 years he served as a trustee of the Hunterdon Land Trust, a local environmental organization dedicated to preserving the rural character of Hunterdon County, NJ through the acquisition of open space.
Mr. Steinert received his Bachelors in Journalism and Environmental Public Policy from Rutgers University. He lives in an old farm house in Stockton, NJ with his wife, their two children, a dog and some chickens.

Lynette Molnar, Exhibition & Arts Fundraising
Lynette Molnar has over 25 years experience in photography, curating, community outreach, teaching, marketing and event creation and planning.
A passion for social issues has compelled Ms. Molnar to create a number of “firsts," as co-curator of AIDS: The Artists Response - the first international art exhibition on AIDS, organizer of the second-largest attendance draw of the Names Project Quilt, and founder of the San Francisco based First Exposures: Youth Opportunities Through Photography, a photography mentoring program for homeless youth still going strong 15 years later. Additionally, she conceptualized and organized three annual Provincetown festivals: Holly Folly, Single Women's Weekend, and Women of Color Weekend.
Ms. Molnar has produced major exhibitions and programming including record-breaking attendance for Shooting Back: A Photographic View of Life By Homeless Children, Donna Ferrato's Living with the Enemy, sponsored by Liz Claiborne, P.F. Bentley's Clinton: Portrait of Victory, sponsored by Time magazine, and Paul Farmer's The Uses of Haiti.
Ms. Molnar has taught photography at Ohio State University and UC Berkeley. She is the recipient of numerous honors and awards including a National Endowment for the Arts Photography Fellowship, two Greater Boston Business Council Small Business Leadership awards, and NGLTF's Community Service Award. Ms. Molnar has a Master of Fine Arts degree in photography from Ohio State University and resides between Provincetown and Boston, MA.
Andrew Marconi, Digital Architecture
Andrew Marconi has 14 years experience in broadcast and interactive advertising. Through his digital consultancy, Marconi Media Group, and partnerships with leading agencies, he has advised and produced award-winning creative and technology-driven solutions for clients at both the national and global level. Mr. Marconi brings to the table extensive experience within the broadcast industry and educational marketplace, and across a wide range of consumer- and business-focused products and services in both the commercial and non-profit arenas.
Mr. Marconi pursued his Bachelor of Science Communications in Broadcast at Ohio University (Athens) with undergraduate study in visual and theatrical design. His clients include SRA/McGraw-Hill, Bennett Kuhn Varner - the leading direct response agency in the southeastern U.S., and BBDO North America - the flagship branding agency within the Omnicom network. He has worked on a wide range of accounts and brands such as: Saab, Black and Decker, Bayer Global Healthcare, Home Depot, Kaplan Higher Education, Earthlink, Cingular Wireless, Dell Computers, Capital One Bank, Harrah's Casinos, and Habitat for Humanity. He is based in New York City.
Frank Cefalo, Business Development
Frank Cefalo oversees the east coast for AOL's mobile advertising division, working closely with top name brands and ad agencies in developing their mobile marketing strategy.
Frank has over 14 years of business development experience working with advertising agencies, media companies and brands like HBO, DaimlerChrysler, Dish Network and Bank of America. His experience with cause-oriented events includes co-founding BlinkFest, a nationally touring film festival of gay and lesbian short films, and co-producing the Artist Showcase Series, an event-style gallery of work by openly gay artists to benefit non-profit organizations including GMHC and the MAC AIDS Fund.
Frank obtained his Business Administration degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and his Master of International Management from the University of Denver.
Mary Sack, Program Planning
Mary Sack is a consultant on energy and environmental issues, and a photographer. She has worked as a research consultant, editor, and conference planner for the Sustainable Energy Programme of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and as researcher and grant writer for agencies and non-profits such as the Global Environment Facility (GEF) - Latin America and Caribbean, The HALO Trust, TechnoServe and Dalberg Global Development Advisors. In the field of photography and media she has worked for artists such as Nan Goldin and aerial photographer Alex MacLean and on environmental programs for the Discovery Channel and PBS.
Based in New York City, Ms. Sack is on contract for the United Nations Mine Action Coordination Centre in Lebanon. She holds a Master of International Affairs, with a focus on International Energy and Environmental Policy, from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from Brown University.
